From Wizard of Oz to Wicked and everything in-between, welcome to The Greatest Film Adaptations of All Time. Author and pop culture historian Marty Gitlin will show snippets of such classics as Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Graduate, The Godfather, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Jaws, The Color Purple, Shawshank Redemption. Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump, and Wicked. Attendees can participate in some film adaptation trivia along the way! Marty will have autographed and personalized copies of his books available after the program. This presentation is both enlightening and entertaining so please join us!
