Does your 1st or 2nd grader love to read? Or maybe they are just starting their reading journey and looking for friends? Join our Beginners Book Club, designed for ages 6-8! Reading levels vary widely at this age. You are welcome to read in whatever way is the best fit for your child, whether that is independent reading or reading aloud with a caretaker. On the first Thursday of the month (Sept.-May), we’ll gather in the story craft room to chat about our latest book, share our favorite moments, discover new perspectives, eat some yummy treats/snacks, and do crafts/activities that bring our books to life! It’s a fantastic way for your 1st or 2nd grader to make new friends and discover a love of reading! You can find our reading list here . We will have copies of the book for all registered readers! Registration required. Space is limited to 10 kids each month.
