While groundhogs can't actually determine whether or not we will have an early spring, Groundhog Day is a fun tradition that offers us time to reflect on the changing season and celebrate local wildlife. Hear the live forecast from Drumlin Farm's own Ms. G, our woodchuck weather expert and official state groundhog of Massachusetts. Afterwards, warm up with some hot cocoa and enjoy family-friendly winter activities around the sanctuary. Meet a few of our resident wildlife ambassadors while learning how different animals adapt to winter conditions, visit the farm animals, explore the trails, and make groundhog-themed crafts to take home. This event is included with general admission. You may drop in at any time, no registration required.
