Tai Chi with Constance Tai Chi, often referred to as meditation-in-motion, is an ancient mind-body practice influenced by martial arts, traditional Chinese medicine, and Taoist philosophy. This weight-bearing exercise, appropriate for all ages and abilities, has multiple health benefits that include strengthening bones, improving balance, and managing stress. Level I An introduction to the eight active ingredients of Tai Chi, the fundamental principles upon which Tai Chi is based. In addition, learn the basic elements of the Cheng Man Ching 37-posture form. Level II Introduction and practice of longer segments of the Cheng Man Ching 37-posture form. Prerequisite: Level I or consent of instructor. Both levels may be taken together. About the Instructor Constance Marina completed the teacher-training certification program in 2025 from the Tree of Life Tai Chi studio in Watertown, MA.
