Create a seasonal pumpkin design inside of an embroidery hoop. Learn the basics of needle felting as you add color, texture, and an expressive face to make your pumpkin uniquely your own. Make your project uniquely yours by choosing from a variety of wool colors and adding your own patterns and details to your pumpkin. Experience the joy of needle felting with Pop up Art School in a friendly environment. You'll gain the basic skills of needle felting, walking away with a finished piece, and the confidence to continue your felting journey independently. Please register only if you can remain for the entire 90 minute class. In order to be successful in this program, participants should: be able to listen and follow multi-step directions be able to maintain a safe body and follow safety instructions have a desire to learn new skills and explore new crafting mediums have fine motor skills necessary for holding a small needle be able to work through frustration with minimal intervention If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs.
