Carve away stress and learn something new with this beginner-friendly block printing workshop. Participants will choose from a selection of winter-themed images, or design their own, and transform it into a print by carving an easy-cut rubber block. The process is approachable, relaxing, and surprisingly satisfying, making it accessible for all skill levels. Once the carving is complete, blocks are inked and printed, revealing bold, one-of-a-kind designs. Each participant leaves with their carved block for future use, along with a collection of their own hand-printed pieces, a lasting reminder of a shared creative experience. In order to successfully participate in this program, a participant should have: the ability to follow multi-step instructions the ability to be safe while using sharp tools the ability to focus and maintain patience with fine detail work the ability to share materials a desire to interact and socialize with peers If you become unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit you from registering for future programs. This program is made possible in part by the generous donors…
