High school readers in grades 9 - 12 are invited to the book club formerly known as "Between the Lines!" Our October read will be 2026 National Book Award Longlist for Young People's Literature title Holloway by Elana K. Arnold. Copies will be available to pick from the Teen Room after registration opens. Please read the book before our October 26 meeting, where we will discuss it and also plan for future book clubs. In order to successfully participate in this program, a participant should have: the ability to read and comprehend complex books (accessible formats available) the ability to be an engaged participant in a conversation—including the ability to be an active listener, take turns talking, and treat peers with courtesy and respect a desire to interact and socialize with peers a desire to read outside their comfort zone and try different genres
