Discover Newton's Third Law of Motion! After a brief presentation about Newton's Third Law of Motion, you'll be divided into small groups and work together to make a balloon-powered car. Customize your car to travel as far as possible with one fully inflated balloon. This program is part of Cary Teens Lead the Way, a program designed to highlight the interests and talents of Lexington's teens. This program will be presented by Ben Qin, Arun Lenhart (10th graders) and Rocco Choe (9th grader) at the Belmont Hill school, where they are members of the school's robotics program In order to be successful in this program, participants must: have an interest in science and science experiments be able to successfully work in small groups be willing to problem solve and try new ideas be able to work through frustration with minimal intervention be able to handle tools, such as a hot glue gun, responsibly If your child becomes unable to attend this program, please notify the library as soon as possible. Repeated 'no-shows' without notification may prohibit your child from registering for future programs.
