Give your little one a joyful first connection to nature—at a toddler's pace. Explore seasonal phenomena with a short trail walk, simple activities, and story time designed for ages 5 and under and their caregivers. This fall, embrace familiar signs of autumn at the sanctuary, from changing colors to how animals prepare for the season. Build routines for getting outside on your own, meet other families, and leave with fresh ideas for nature play at home. Meet in front of the nature play area, at the sanctuary entrance. Dress in comfortable and weather-appropriate clothes and shoes, and plan to be outside for the entire program. Bathrooms with a changing table and water are available on site.
