Join us for a talk on historic local shipbuilding and boat restoration by local historian and boat builder, Peter Arenstam. Peter will discuss his knowledge of local Kingston shipbuilding history, with emphasis on George Shiverick boats that were built along the Jones River. Also, Peter will highlight his work on the Mayflower II, and his involvement in local historic wooden boat restoration projects. This event is part of this year's many local Kingston history programs being held in celebration and commemoration of the Town of Kingston's 300th Anniversary.
