A book club for third graders who love to read and talk about books with their peers. Children read an assigned age-appropriate novel prior to each meeting and come prepared to think and talk about the book with their groupmates. Each month one participant hosts the group by bringing a snack for everyone. There are typically two groups of Book Buddies, each meeting on a Thursday each month during the school year. Even though you have registered on a specific date, your child may be in the group meeting on the alternate Thursday. We try hard to divide groups as evenly as possible by gender and elementary school. The list for each group will be emailed to caregivers by late September.
