Program Content

This program teaches fundamentals of folkstyle wrestling, including takedowns, positioning, escapes, and pinning combinations. It's an excellent way to build strength, coordination, confidence, and athleticism in a fun and structured environment. No wrestling shoes required - just come ready to learn and move.

Registration Information

Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601. Online registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on the first day of registration for Resident and Non-Residents and ongoing until the program is full.

Requirements

Participants between 5-18 years old. Participants should wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing. Participants should bring a water bottle.

Fees

Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.
