The Friends of the Library is beginning its fifth year of Lifelong Learning with an exciting new offering. What impacts your health every day, and how do your actions shape the environment? It turns out, your zip code influences your health more than your genetic code, and humans are continuously changing their environments in both big and small ways. This 4-part workshop will explore links between environments and human health through a variety of readings, podcasts, films. Topics include how health is impacted by air, water, food, and your neighborhood surroundings. We will enjoy group discussions and activities related to the materials. This group will meet weekly for four sessions. It is strongly recommended that participants attend as many sessions as possible. Registration is required so that we can distribute information about the reading each week.
