Dining Etiquette Workshop for Children

Want to feel confident bringing your child to restaurants or social events? This interactive workshop gives children the skills they need to feel comfortable, self-reliant, and polished in any dining or social setting. Led by a certified etiquette consultant, participants will learn proper table manners and dining behaviors for use at home, in restaurants, and when meeting new people. Building these skills helps children succeed socially, in school settings, and in future professional environments. Through hands-on instruction and engaging activities, students will practice essential etiquette skills, including:

• How to approach and be seated at the table
• Proper napkin use
• Understanding place settings
• Correctly holding and using silverware
• Bread and butter etiquette
• Navigating the soup course
• American and Continental dining styles
• Passing food politely
• Handling unwanted food
