Interested in becoming a Teen Peer Tutor at the library? This brief orientation will prepare you for a successful and rewarding tutoring experience! Earn volunteer hours and help younger students along the way! During the session, teens will learn about the expectations and responsibilities of a peer tutor, including communication, reliability, how to work effectively with younger students, and how to create a welcoming, supportive learning environment. We’ll also discuss appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, safety, and when to ask a library staff member for help.
