Full Moon Hike at World's End

Join us for a Full Moon Hike at World’s End! During this unique hiking experience, we invite you to stay after our gates have closed to enjoy a tranquil evening walk under the light of the moon with a World’s End guide. Enjoy an hour-long hike to the top of Planter’s Hill and back along our century-old cart paths. We will take in views of the setting sun and rising moon as we share in informal discussion about the traditional significance of the month’s moon as well as World’s End history. In addition, if you listen and look carefully, you may spot wildlife becoming more active at dusk. White tailed deer, red fox, raccoons, barred owls and other woodland animals make their way out into the open fields of World’s End. This is a great opportunity to get fresh air and share the joys of nature.
