Navigating the College Landscape (For Teens and/or Parents)

Saturday, November 7, 2026 · 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Sibley Hall — 99 Main St., Groton, MA

Thinking about college, but not sure where to even start? There’s a lot of noise out there right now, and a bunch of myths that are making the process seem scarier than it has to be. Come find out what's actually happening in admissions right now and what you can do now to set yourself (or your student) up for success. We'll cover the landscape: what colleges prioritize today, where students are choosing to apply, whether "major" matters as much as you might think, what's changing with testing and essays, why college finances and mergers matter to families, and how to make sense of ED, EA, regular decision, and direct admissions. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
