Read Shakespeare’s King Lear within a small group using a laid back Read Aloud Circle format. All participants will receive a free copy of the No Fear Shakespeare edition which contains both the original Shakespeare text and a modern English translation. All are encouraged to attend the five scheduled meetings. We will read one act per week (no outside reading required). Let’s see what happens to King Lear. He is among the most famous of all of Shakespeare’s characters. Teens and adults are welcome. Please commit to attending all five meetings as the group will cover one act of the play per meeting.
