The Greenfield Public Library is pleased to present Local Author Ahmad Esfahani in the Community Meeting Room on Tuesday, September 22 at 6:00 PM. The Coyote and the Cougar is a literary memoir blending political theory, allegory, and personal witness to examine the cost of living between identities; immigrant and citizen, insider and exile. Using the ancient story of the erev rav as a framework, it reflects on belonging, power, and survival outside accepted categories. Ahmad Hatef Esfahani is a martial artist, barista, and writer whose work explores the intersection of discipline, culture, and public life. As a contributing writer for The Greenfield Recorder, he has published essays on civic life, governance, and contemporary culture. Esfahani is also the author of Eight Faces of the Goddess: Cannabis and the Divine Feminine and Eight Faces of the Dragon: Coca and the Divine Masculi ne. This program, sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and open to the public.
