Join us at the GPL for our bi-monthly non fiction book discussion as we explore different authors and genres, on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:30 pm in the GPL Conference Room. This month we are exploring A Hymn to Life: Shame has to Change Sides, by Gisèle Pelicot. Part memoir, part act of defiance, A Hymn to Life is a moving story of survival, testimony, and courage, and an unforgettable portrait of a woman who broke her silence, reclaimed her voice, and forced a reckoning. Copies of the book are available at the library. Upcoming Discussions: January 17: The Sea Captain’s Wife by Tilar J. Mazzeo March 23: Better Living Through Birding by Christian Cooper May 18: Everything is Tuberculosis by John Greene July 20: The Feather Detective by Chris Sweeney For more information, contact Pamela McBride at librarian@greenfieldpubliclibrary.org or call (413) 772-1544.
