Through programs such as FIRST LEGO League, students work in teams to design, build, and program LEGO robots while also researching real-world problems and developing skills in engineering, coding, communication, teamwork, and leadership. A central part of FIRST is outreach, sharing STEM opportunities with the wider community and motivating more young innovators to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. More information about FIRST and its programs is available at https://www.firstinspires.org/ Our CyberSquad Robotics team is proud to represent the community through its accomplishments. Annual State Championships are hosted by WPI and we are back-to-back State Champions and have advanced to the FIRST World Championship for two consecutive years. Most recently, our team received the Engineering Excellence Award at the Canada Cup of Robotics, competing against approximately 100 teams representing 27 countries.
