On Saturday, October 3rd from 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Falmouth Public Library – Main Branch, will be hosting our third CapeCon (Falmouth’s very own FREE ComicCon). The event will run all day, though out the library. Registration is not required so come on down! Its intent is to bring the community together regardless of their race, economic situation, sexuality, and/or neurodiversity. Breaking down the barriers of the community with the beauty of super heroes, animation, manga masters, video games, a scavenger hunt, and much more! CapeCon 2026 will look a little different from our past CapeCons. 2026 will be centered on empowering the community with the confidence and skills to achieve their dreams of publishing a graphic novel, science fiction writing, making your own zines (DIY free expression on paper! Examples to follow) and spread them out all over the Cape for everyone to enjoy. Some events we will be hosting are a panel on publishing, a zine workshop, and a Pikachu felt head creation workshop!
