Discover the answers to all your bat questions while having fun along the way. Set out on a bat scavenger hunt through Arcadia's trails, play an echolocation game where you'll navigate using your senses the way bats do, make a bat-themed craft, and even measure your own wingspan. You'll also discover why bats are quiet heroes for local farmers, eating enormous quantities of crop-destroying insects every night. Meet at the Nature Center. Plan to be outdoors for the majority of the program. Expect to walk 1 to 1.5 miles on trails and grassy areas.
