After a busy summer filled with young chefs in our Farmer, Forester, Chef! camp, the Powisset Kitchen is missing the laughter, creativity, and excitement of our campers. That’s why we’re inviting your little food lovers back for a fun-filled afternoon of cooking and discovery! As summer winds down, Powisset Farm is bursting with fresh vegetables from our Children’s Garden. Kiddos will harvest inspiration from the season’s bounty while learning new kitchen skills, trying fresh ingredients, and creating delicious recipes from scratch. The back-to-school season can be busy, but learning doesn’t have to stay in the classroom! This hands-on cooking class encourages creativity, confidence, and curiosity in the kitchen. Best of all, each child will take home recipes to share with family and recreate together at home. We can’t wait to welcome your young chef into the kitchen for an afternoon of fun, learning, and tasty treats! Whenever possible, ingredients will be sourced directly from our farm.
