What is a Song Circle? A song circle is a gathering where people come together in a relaxed, supportive setting to share songs. Participants take turns leading, teaching, or singing while others join in, listen, or harmonize. It’s about community, connection, and the joy of raising voices together—no performance pressure, just shared music. This will be a monthly gathering of acoustic musicians coming together to share songs, collaborate, take turns leading the circle, and just have fun jamming! Who Should Attend? All skill levels are welcome! Just follow along and play with us! Music appreciators who just want to listen are also welcome. No registration required. About the Facilitator Derek Bergman: Derek Bergman’s musical journey began in childhood, growing up on stage with his father’s blues, rock, and country bands throughout New England. Those early years performing, gigging, and learning in real time gave him a deep foundation as a multi-instrumentalist, session player, and songwriter.
