The Art of Conantum

As part of our celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of Conantum, the William Munroe Special Collections is proud to present "The Art of Conantum." While Conantum's history as the first modern residential development in Concord will be highlighted in "A Special Place to Live: Conantum at 75" in the Munroe Gallery, the creativity of residents in the neighborhood needed additional room. This exhibition features art created by residents of Conantum, both past and present. Works include paintings, drawings, ceramics, photographs, and books, which are showcased all across the Library. Materials are featured in the long hallway gallery, the Commons gallery, the Goodwin Forum, and on the second floor stairwell. Thanks to Catherine Parmelee and Geoff Tritch for their assistance in creating this exhibition.
