Teen Writing Group (Ages 12-18)

Join the new Teen Writing Group at the Charlton Library! Everyone has a story to tell - come tell yours! This group is open to all writers ages 12-18. It's for anyone interested in writing, no matter what kind of writing you're interested in, and no matter your experience level. Writers from any town are welcome! We'll start with various warmups and writing exercises, then work through prompts, all before having time to work on our own in a freestyle session. Along the way and at the end, we'll share our work and provide and constructive feedback to each other. Can't make it this time? No problem! Drop-in whichever month you can make it. Our next meeting date for 2026 is Tuesday, December 8th, and we'll continue to meet on the second Tuesday of every month.

Teen Volunteers

You may attend this program for service hours, as your presence and

positive participation helps bring the program to life and guarantee our programs can run. However, active and positive, non-disruptive participation is required; as mentioned, it's okay to come but not be an experienced writer.
