Cybersecurity professional Gene Kingsley will discuss the basics of how to protect yourself online. Covering device security, safe online shopping/banking, spotting fake news/deepfakes, and fundamental privacy protection. This project was funded by the Massachusetts Broadband Institute at the MassTech Collaborative under the Municipal Digital Equity Implementation Program. Funding was provided by Massachusetts ARPA State Fiscal Recovery Funds.
