Mycologist Jonathan Kranz will discuss the basics of fungal life with insights on foraging for food and a special emphasis on common mushrooms that are likely to be found in our area. Registration is appreciated. About presenter Jonathan Kranz: Kranz leads mushroom walks and talks for libraries, land trusts, clubs, and other interest groups in southern New England. In addition to being a MA Audubon Certified Field Naturalist, Kranz currently serves as vice president of the oldest mushroom club in North America, the Boston Mycological Club, and is a board member of the Pioneer Valley Mycological Association.
