What happens when you combine a guided nature walk, a live animal encounter, and an afternoon of art? An unforgettable Saturday for you and your little one! Set out on an exploratory walk through the wildlife sanctuary in search of seasonal highlights, including animal tracks, migrating bird calls, and the beginnings of spring. Back at The Nest meet one of Blue Hills Trailside Museum's animal ambassadors, learn all about their species in an up-close encounter, and spend the afternoon in The Nest deep diving into the world of 3D construction transforming an unassuming cereal box into a fantastic work of art. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program. The walk takes place outdoors on the sanctuary trails and the art portion moves inside to The Nest makerspace and art studio. In the event of severe weather conditions, the program may be cancelled or postponed. More details on what to bring and expect will be emailed to you ahead of the program.
