What happens when you combine a guided nature walk, a live animal encounter, and an afternoon of art? An unforgettable Saturday for you and your little one! Set out on an exploratory walk through the wildlife sanctuary in search of our resident Great Horned Owls that are very active this time of year. Back at The Nest meet one of Blue Hills Trailside Museum's owls, learn all about their species in an up-close encounter, and spend the afternoon in The Nest printmaking with our collection of our custom owl stencils. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the program. The walk takes place outdoors on the sanctuary trails and the art portion moves inside to The Nest makerspace and art studio. In the event of severe weather conditions, the program may be cancelled or postponed. More details on what to bring and expect will be emailed to you ahead of the program.
