Nature journaling blends nature observation, sketching, and writing into one rewarding practice that captures changing seasons while growing skills. Get started with the help of our expert instructors, backdropped by The Nest and our 124-acre wildlife sanctuary. You'll learn how to compose a journal page, develop a daily drawing habit, and use your journaling practice as a way to unwind, focus, and notice the natural world more deeply. Whether you're looking for a creative outlet or to deepen your nature study, you'll find both here. No art experience is needed and materials are provided. Park in the gravel parking lot by the yellow barn and follow the paved path to The Nest building. All materials will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own favorite journaling and drawing supplies.
