This is the room where the record gets figured out. Matt Savage takes pop hits from the last fifty years and rebuilds them in acoustic jazz: straight-ahead one minute, fusion the next. He is workshopping the material for an upcoming album, with a band of Longy faculty and fellow players from the Boston scene. Hear it live before it gets fixed in the studio. Longy’s performance are free and open to the public, but please register in advance.
