Join us for a winter course! Cambridge is a collection of rich and diverse neighborhoods, each with its own distinct history and flavor. Over the course of three Wednesday this July we will explore three of these neighborhoods – North Cambridge, East Cambridge, and Cambridgeport. How have they developed over the past several centuries? How have they been shaped by environmental forces, economics, architecture, and industry? What people and communities have called them home? And how does understanding these neighborhoods help us to better understand Cambridge as a whole? Bring your curiosity and experiences as we discuss this history together!
