Join Docomomo and co-hosts Cambridge Historical Commission and History Cambridge for a walking tour of Modern houses in Cambridge. This tour will include entrance to Philip Johnson’s 9 Ash Street and a house by Eleanor Raymond, as well as 8 exterior stops with en route talks by Docomomo members. Meet outside 9 Ash Street in Cambridge. The tour will be approximately 2.5 hours long, ending close to the corner of Craigie St and Brattle St. Total walking distance will be approximately 2 miles. Bring water and comfortable shoes, as you’ll be standing for long periods. Please note there are no restrooms available along the route. The tour is a short walk from the Harvard Square T stop. The tour will go on rain or shine, so dress for the weather.
