Managing Fall in the Garden with Erin Camire

Tuesday, October 27, 2026 · 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Auditorium — 1822 Main St., Brewster, MA

In the horticultural world, fall is often labeled as a time to clean. Removing fallen leaves and dead stems and putting our gardens to bed after a long summer. However, so many of these traditional practices rob our soils of crucial nutrients and discard critical food sources and habitat for wildlife. Join Erin Camire in a conversation on how to shift your perspective about fall cleanups. Let go of old notions about what you “should” do and learn to steward your landscape to benefit the many species that will spend the winter living there (while preparing it for spring!). Offered in partnership with the Brewster Conservation Trust. Register here: https://brewsterconservationtrust.org/programs-events/walks-talks/ .
