This session includes a brief PowerPoint presentation and educational materials related to Cholesterol Management. After the presentation, attendees may take a CardioChek screening which provides quick, point-of-care results for Total Cholesterol, HDL (good cholesterol), Cholesterol/ HDL ratio and a random Glucose from a single fingerstick. This assesses your risk for heart disease (cholesterol/ HDL ratio levels) and highlights proactive lifestyle changes. Screenings conducted by experienced Public Health Nurses. Offered in partnership with the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment.
