Join Rouzbeh Yassini, PhD, the "Father of the Cable Modem," for Eldermaxxing, a program designed to offer insight into helping improve the quality of life for our elder citizens, with underlying assistance from broadband connectivity. We are living longer than people born during WWII who had a life expectancy of 78 years or less. Millennials could easily live up to 95 years and with improved health predictions, diet, mental, and physical care, they will be the first generation living more than 100 years. As a global society, we are not prepared to handle the last 25-30 years of our citizens' lives. We need to offer our elders compassionate care, the ability to live with their loved ones, and the quality of life they deserve. To ensure millennials enjoy a higher, more affordable quality of life than their parents, while aging alongside loved ones, we must create a unified longevity plan. The million-dollar question remains, how do we synchronize smart home facilities, improved healthcare, caregiver's tools, independent living, and wellness centers and do just that?
