Join Maura Genova, the Lead Education Coordinator at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, as she explores the world of birds. Find out what makes birds unique within the animal kingdom, where and how to locate birds in different settings, and basic bird biology and behavior. Maura Genova is an Adult Educator and Camp Director at Mass Audubon's Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. A passionate educator and naturalist with over 10 years of teaching experience, Maura leads and coordinates adult bird walks, paddles on the Ipswich River, and other natural history programs on topics including vernal pools and mammals. She also leads trainings for adult volunteers and as Camp Director trains, manages, and supervises staff who do natural history interpretation.
