Tucked into the mountains where Italy meets Austria and Germany, the Alto Adige region tells a story of two cultures blended into one plate. In celebration of Italian American and German American Heritage Month, Suman Shah , Chef-in-Residence at the Boston Public Library, will explore that heritage through a dish that captures it perfectly. We'll make a creamy, golden polenta paired with a rich, slow-simmered goulash, drawing on both Italian and German culinary traditions.
