Who Adults and teens (14+). Good for people who already journal and for people who’ve never tried it. What Gather under the full moon with the Trustees Boston Resilience team for a guided nature journaling session on the ledges at Geneva Avenue Cliffs. Presented by The Trustees with the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s Urban Wilds Program. October’s Hunter’s Moon is the full moon that follows the Harvest Moon—named for the season when the fields were cleared and game was easier to spot in the open. It reaches full just after midnight, so it’ll be rising bright behind us as we settle in. Session starts at 4PM, sunset is at 5:30PM, we will wrap up at 6PM! Journals and pencils provided—bring your own if you prefer. Wear sturdy shoes for rocky ground, bring a headlamp, and something to sit on. Nature journaling means paying attention on paper—words, sketches, questions, lists, whatever helps you notice. Your guide will offer a few short prompts, with quiet stretches in between. We’ll gather on the puddingstone ledges at Geneva Avenue Cliffs and spend the evening looking out and writing down what we see. No one will see your journal unless you want them to. When…
