The very nature of water is essential to life, serving as a source of beauty, power, and reflection. Through the medium of percussion ensemble, Chara invites audiences to experience Reflections—a captivating musical journey inspired by water in all its forms. From the thawing crack of an iceberg to the unstoppable force of rushing rapids and the quiet serenity of still waters, Reflections explores the many moods and movements of water through music spanning the impressionistic works of Claude Debussy to contemporary voices including Philip Glass, Owen Clayton, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and Pavel Karman.
