Beverly Bird Walks: Sally Milligan Park for World Migratory Bird Day

Saturday, October 10, 2026 · 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

Off-site — Off-site, Beverly, MA

This date marks the fall 2026 World Migratory Bird Day in the Americas --a day to recognize the importance of the annual migrations of millions of birds from their breeding grounds to their wintering sites, and the problems they face along the way. For this walk, we will revisit Sally Milligan Nature Park, Beverly’s premier warbler spot with 26 species reported over the years, numerous other species during the fall migration, and surprise vagrants! Wear sturdy shoes for these trails and expect tree roots and rocky outcrops. This program is rain or shine, though heavy or dangerous weather conditions may lead to cancellation. Check our Event Calendar for a cancellation announcement before attending. This program is for adults and registration is required. Questions? Contact Kerri MacLaury at kmaclaury@noblenet.org or 978-921-6062, ext. 2120. For more on Sally Milligan Nature Park, visit Beverly Open Space Trails: Sally Milligan Park and eBird .
