Habitat Education Center and Wildlife Sanctuary — 10 Juniper Rd., Belmont, MA
A long, storied history is hiding in the landscape if you know where to look. Explore the winter meadows and woods, tracing how this landscape has changed over generations and what conservation work helps keeps it wild to this day. Then, step inside the Nature Center to warm up and hear the surprising story behind how the building itself became part of the sanctuary. Come curious and leave with a deeper connection to Habitat beyond just a place to hike. You will spend time both indoors in the Nature Center and outdoors on the trails, with a gentle walk on the sanctuary's mostly level paths. More details on what to bring and expect will be emailed to you ahead of the program.
