Underwood History Room - 232 — 336 Concord Ave., Belmont, MA
With Instructor Ann Bausman Use paper and photos as your canvas—and thread as your medium—to create one-of-a-kind images. Learn or review basic embroidery stitches, get inspiration from the work of artists who use this technique, and practice working with patterns and transferring images. Participants may wish to bring their own photos (black and white is best) and postcards to work on. An assortment of embroidery thread, paper and images to work with, and a needle will be provided. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.
