We all know the adage, "those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Don't be a victim - instead join librarians Lauren Pfendner and Chris Tremblay for an engrossing read of historical nonfiction every month. October's selection is Book of Ages by Jill Lepore. A National Book Award Finalist and NY Times Notable Book of 2013, Time Magazine described Lepore's work as follows: “Jane Franklin’s indomitable voice and hungry, searching intellect shine through these pages; she will not be forgotten, and the world is richer for it.” This book club for adults & teens will be held online through Zoom and in person in the Waverley Oaks Room.
