Get ready to dance the dance of Angola! Emerging as a way to express emotion about what was happening/what was being felt in Portugal during the Angolan Civil War and the War with Portugal, Kizomba is slowly becoming more popular on the dance floor. Broken down into four 1-hour sessions, via practice with footwork and partnerwork, you will learn the essential moves to understand the passion revolving around this dance! About the instructor: Alexandria was first introduced to Bachata in 2018. Since then, she has continued her training and has performed on Sensual Bachata Teams as well on a Lady's Styling Team. As she continues to advance her skills, she now teaches others her passion. Register once to attend all four sessions. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.
