This course is perfect for artists of all interests - animators, illustrators, comic book creators, and more! In this class, students will learn what it means to be a character designer and learn techniques used by industry professionals from an industry professional through lectures, demos, and hands-on experience. They’ll then learn how to write their characters' stories, draw them in interesting, interactive poses, and place them in a believable 3D space. Students will also learn the importance of thinking while they draw, as they come up with unique designs. Students can bring their own original characters and are encouraged to create new ones using these industry techniques.
