Discover how ideas can become real objects through 3D design and 3D printing! In this hands-on workshop, teens will be introduced to the basics of digital 3D modeling and learn how designs are prepared for 3D printing. Participants will explore beginner-friendly design tools, create and customize their own 3D models, and learn about the design process from idea → digital model → 3D print. Along the way, they’ll practice creativity, spatial thinking, problem-solving, and design thinking. No previous 3D design or printing experience is required. Equipment and materials will be provided. This program is for ages 12-18. Registration required. This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.
