Program Content: This tennis program is a fun, beginner-friendly program designed to help players in Grades 1-8 learn and develop the skills needed to serve, rally, and play the game of tennis. The program is geared toward all skill levels and will include instruction, hitting practice, skill review, and opportunities to put what participants have learned into game play. Participants will work on fundamentals tennis through fun and engaging activities designed to build confidence and help players successfully learn the game at their own pace. Once participants have developed the necessary skills, they will have opportunities to rally and play fun matches with other players in the program. The program uses modified tennis balls, court sizes, and age-appropriate rackets to make learning tennis easier and more enjoyable for young players.
